Psychologists are specialists in providing evidence based mental health treatment.
A Psychiatrist has the authorization to prescribe medication, a Psychologist does not.
Psychiatric services are covered by OHIP, Psychological Services are not.
Psychological services are covered by Insurance Companies, Veteran's Affairs, and clients pay privately to access services.
